KETO Salted Caramel Macchiato


The Macchiato is one of the most sophisticated of all coffee drinks. The name macchiato comes from an Italian word meaning marked, spotted, or stained. 


Sometimes called an espresso macchiato or cafe macchiato, this elegant drink is a favorite among many die-hard coffee lovers. While its fancy name might sound upscale, though, the drink itself is pretty simple: espresso with just a dash of milk. 


While this drink is known for being a real kick-in-the-pants (it’ll DEFINITELY wake you up), people who don’t enjoy the taste of straight espresso have found ways to make it a little more palatable. Today, you can make an iced or flavored macchiato that retains the sophistication of the original drink, without the intensity.

Here’s how to make your own:


For a 16 oz. Drink: 



  1. Pour 1 oz. Boiling Water over 1 tbsp.  Instant Espresso Powder and 1 tbsp. 5 Sparrows Sugar Free Salted Caramel Drink Mix
  2. Stir until dissolved 
  3. Add Coconut Milk to Half Full 
  4. Add 1 Cup of Ice and Stir 
  5. Top with Sugar-Free Whipped Cream
  6. Enjoy!
