Low Carb Eggnog

Eggnog is a beloved traditional holiday drink, but it often contains a high amount of sugar and carbs. That’s why we wanted to take on the challenge of creating a low-carb version that will allow you to savor the creamy richness of eggnog without the excess sugar content.
Ingredients:
- 
4 cups milk 
- 
12 large egg yolks 
- 
½ c 5 Sparrows sugar free white chocolate 
- 
½ c 5 Sparrows sugar free chai 
- 
4 cups cream 
- 
2 ½ cups light rum (Optional) 
- 
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg 
Instructions:
- 
Whisk the egg yolks, then whisk in then whisk in the sugar-free white chocolate and sugar-free chai. 
- 
Heat the milk, until steaming, then remove from heat. 
- 
Gradually whisk the hot milk mixture into the egg mixture. Do this a few spoonfuls at a time to start, being careful not to cook your eggs! Continue until all of the hot milk is incorporated. 
- 
Return to the saucepan and cook the mixture over medium heat until thick. 
- 
Refrigerate until cold. 
- 
Stir in the cream, rum if desired, and nutmeg. Refrigerate overnight.
